Like many of Barbara’s creations, the lion collection is inspired by the natural world.  

This statement collection of creature jewellery captures the majestic beauty of these Felidae creatures. Hand-carved lion and lionesses in solid gold, platinum, and silver make these bangles and pendants timeless pieces of wearable art.    

The Lion collection comes in a variety of designs including the open bangle bracelet featuring a majestic lion lioness design, set in silver and gold. Each piece is uniquely handcrafted and Created in precious metals such as gold, platinum, and silver. Handmade by our master goldsmith in workshops in Hampshire and London.

The lioness lucky pebble pendant is a beautifully crafted gold pendant necklace combining Barbara’s lucky pebble and lion collection. The original pebble is one that Barbara found on the beach here in Southsea. It is said that if you have a pebble with a hole in it, it will bring you a lifetime of luck. We now cast this perfect pebble in silver, gold, and platinum to share the luck this charming pendant can bring.

The majestic lioness pebble pendant is handcrafted in sterling silver with an 18ct yellow gold hand-crafted lioness lounging on top of the lucky pebble. These handmade pendants can be set with precious gemstones such as white and coloured diamonds, vibrant emeralds, and sapphires. You can choose your gemstone with Barbara to make the design personal to you.

Hand choosing a gemstone to be set into a handmade, bespoke design truly makes buying a piece of jewellery a special and personal experience. Once you have chosen the perfect gemstone our master goldsmith begins creating your one-off piece. 

The understated lion cuff bracelets are elegant bangles, hand forged in solid sterling silver finished with a soft hammered texture, brought to life with the hand-carved 18ct yellow gold lion and lioness’. The lion, a symbol of kingly power and might, lounging next to the majestic lioness a symbol of poise and perfection. The lion is also the symbol of the Leo star sign. The craftsmen in our artisan workshops use traditional techniques to bring Barbara’s designs to life. Barbara’s master goldsmith in chief, David Ward is one of the most talented craftsmen in the country and has worked closely alongside Barbara to create her award-winning designs. David has the knowledge and skill to handcraft designs in metals and materials that have pushed the boundaries of jewellery design. Barbara and David together have created jewellery made from bronze, steel, and Perspex to name a few.
